Background
In a parallel project, iCATS-i2i (identifying Child Anxiety Through Schools - identification to intervention), we are working with parents, children, school staff and others to develop procedures for:

Administering the short questionnaire which we developed through the first phase of our project in schools

Providing parents with feedback

Where children seem to have problems with anxiety, offering parents a brief intervention to help them to help their children overcome these problems.
Once we have tested these procedures in a small number of schools, and checked families and schools are happy with them, we will test this new system in a large controlled study.
